From the beginning cheese has been at the heart of our business, and what could be more heart-warming than a handsome baker that fits a classic French Camembert, unless it is a classy British Tunworth?
The illustrator John Broadley has designed the equally handsome (and classy) presentation in this English recipe.
Ingredients
1 Tunworth
1 Tablespoon of Somerset Cider Brandy
1 Teaspoon of fresh rosemary
Crusty bread
Boiled new potatoes
1 Apple, sliced
Toast for Cheese
Dates, hazelnuts & pumpkin seeds
Method
Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Unwrap the Tunworth from its packaging and place the cheese into the baker.
Cut small indentations into the cheese, and push a small sprig of rosemary into each hole. Pour the Cider Brandy into the indentations. Place the lid on the baker, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until molten and oozing. Serve with crusty bread and toast for cheese, boiled new potatoes and sliced apple.
